Further Education Entry Requirements

Foundation Diploma in Art and Design

You are required to have a minimum of 72 UCAS points, which are typically achieved through:

• Pass for UAL Extended Diploma

• MMP for BTEC National Diploma

• Pass at T Level

• Two or three A Levels where grades amount to 72 UCAS points

All applicants must have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/Grade C or above.

We welcome applications from mature learners providing you are able to evidence that you meet the entry requirements for the course. We are unable to accept experiential learning in lieu of academic achievement for this course.

You will be required to submit a maximum of six examples of your work which show your interest and ability in art, design and/or technology. Guidance on what to include in your examples of work can be found further down this page.

Extended Diploma in Creative Practice

This course is only open to applicants between the ages of 16-18 years old.

Our Extended Diploma in Creative Practice minimum requirements are:

• Four GCSEs with English Language or Literature and Maths at Grade 4/Grade C or above.

• Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design at merit or above and English Language or Literature and Maths at Grade 4/Grade C or above.
