Charlotte Dobson is a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Comic and Concept Art course. She is a 3D artist specialising in Character and Creature design, focusing predominantly on organic sculpting as well as sculpting for Concept and Iteration. Charlotte’s area of practice and research revolves around the use of 3D within both Comic and Concept Art, a rapidly evolving area of industry.

Before joining Leeds Arts University in February 2020 Charlotte was a lecturer in Concept Art at Teesside University. Prior to this Charlotte worked freelance as a 3D visualiser.

Charlotte graduated with Distinction from her Masters in Concept Art for Games and Animation at Teesside University in 2018 and has a BSc (Hons) Computer Animation and VFX with First Class Honours from Leeds Beckett University.
