I fell in love with the university and the feeling it gave off. I was really drawn to the practical and experimental elements that the course offered, so I decided to come here. No two days are the same and the teaching staff, as well as industry speakers, give us the tools and encouragement to grow our own unique writing voice.
The university supported me by providing pastoral support. They helped with setting up collaboration opportunities, industry speakers and workshops to help me get started in the professional writing world. Leeds is a good place to study because of the easy travel link from my hometown and the large writing community and opportunities I had access to.
