Jack Baker is a Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Comic and Concept Art course. He is an illustrator and comic artist with a focus on narrative and storytelling. Before joining Leeds Arts University in December 2024 he was Course Lead for the Level 3 in Animation at Bedford College.

Jack has been a feature of the UK independent comic scene for the last 14 years. His main project has been a series of self-published action based comics such as Guild of Winter and Sport Hero, which focus on character building and developing high paced narrative . As well as his self-published work Jack has operated as a colourist for small press comics and illustrated work for board games

Jack has a MA in Comic Arts and BA (Hons) in Cartoon and Comic arts from Staffordshire University.
