"The educational model at Leeds Arts University is very open; it is just like working in a studio. It gave me freedom and allowed me to explore work outside of university and apply it to my studies, which made me more focused and helped me achieve my goals."

"Before I came to the UK, my intention was to go to the States. However, a member of Leeds Arts University’s International team came to a university fair in Kenya and it was so appealing. The university has a number of African societies which were great, and Leeds has a large African population too. It is extremely welcoming and helped me feel part of the community here; it was the only school I applied to in the UK. The International team continued to support me with my visas, and they were extremely helpful when I graduated and helped me to stay in the UK."
