Lucy Bergman is a Lecturer on BA (Hons) Visual Communication and teaches across all three years of the course.

Lucy has 20 years professional experience as a visual artist and designer with a focus on experimental narrative through moving image, creative writing and music.

Her freelance practice has focussed on community regeneration and emotional wellbeing projects with a view to improve cultural, inter-generational and social cohesion particularly within rural communities around Yorkshire and the North West.

Lucy has focussed on being an educator for the last 8 years and her current research is concerned with the nature of authenticity in an arts and design context.
