Will Morris is a Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Comic and Concept Art course. Before joining Leeds Arts University, he taught on the BA (Hons) Illustration course at Edinburgh College of Art.

Will is a freelance comic creator and illustrator. His original comics include Gospel, published by Image Comics, and The Silver Darlings, published by Blank Slate Books, for which he won a British Comic Award. Both narratives explore themes of faith and expectation through the lens of historical events. Will has also produced comics for a range of clients including Oxford University Press, Nobrow, Spirou, 2000AD, Vertigo, the Edinburgh International Book Festival and V&A Dundee.

His process blends traditional and digital drawing techniques, with a focus on communicating expressive gestures and rich environments.

Will has an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts and a BA (Hons) in Archaeology from Nottingham University.
