BA (Hons) Photography student Rebecca Pitt was recently featured in the UK's biggest selling photography magazine, Amateur Photographer.
First published in October 1884, Amateur Photographer (AP) is the world’s oldest consumer photography magazine, and the only printed weekly photo magazine.
In recent years Rebecca has worked with PhotoPlus, Amateur Photographer, and Digital Camera Magazine - she is in regular contact with the editors, who select images from her portfolio for upcoming features.
Whilst Rebecca has a keen interest in animal photography, this time the editors expressed interest in seeing more of her fine art work, particularly a project about the passing of her nana. Rebecca tells us that it was: "both surprising and incredibly meaningful."
Features editor Amy Davies interviewed Rebecca for a feature length piece in the magazine, asking about her project exploring memory and grief.
