Ten unique large-scale artworks celebrating history, life, and culture in Leeds were unveiled in a new outdoor exhibition on Neville Street as part of Leeds 2023 Year of Culture. Six of the artworks were created by Leeds Arts University alumni.
Commissioned by Leeds City Council, the Leeds Civic Trust, Network Rail, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and local Councillors, this installation comprises a gallery wall featuring ten unique works of art by locally based artists. The artists have undertaken a considerable amount of engagement with communities in the development of their artwork which is represented in the final designs with particular emphasis on communities within the south of the city.
