Fashion Design graduate showcased by the Graduate Fashion Foundation

BA (Hons) Fashion Design

Recent BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate, Grace Lyon, has been promoted by the Graduate Fashion Foundation after being named a catwalk winner at their Graduate Fashion Week Collective show.

The Graduate Fashion Foundation is a charitable organisation and an essential part of the fashion industry. It is the springboard for new talent and a bridge between education and employment. Their portfolio site has over 3000 graduate portfolio profiles from universities around the world. Their hub enables the industry to view the very best curated graduate portfolios, delivering a year-round spotlight on the top talent from the Class of 2024. ⁠

Graduate Fashion Foundation organised the Graduate Fashion Week event where many students from BA (Hons) Fashion Design and BA (Hons) Fashion Photography showcased their work and were shortlisted for awards.

Grace Lyon has since been promoted by Graduate Fashion Foundation as a new talent to the industry on their LinkedIn page.

"Grace Lyon is a contemporary menswear designer who specializes in streetwear, sportswear and repurposing. Her graduate collection repurposes kite surfing kites that were no longer safe to use on water. These were donated from her uncle and are used to create a range of one-off pieces that showcases the details of the kites."
