Filmmaking graduate works on location with comedian Jon Richardson

Molly Hunstone, BA (Hons) Filmmaking graduate, landed a role as the Location Assistant on observational docu-series ‘Our Yorkshire Pub Rescue with Jon Richardson’.
Molly worked as part of a small team, overseeing the contributor and location release forms, assisting with equipment and scene setups, and ensuring the crew was well-fed with comprehensive lunch and dinner plans every day.
Although Molly found the prospect of working away from home daunting at first, she soon settled into it, spending eight weeks on location in the North Yorkshire Moors and soon feeling part of the local community.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to build the relationships with the contributors and community, and to work with one of my favourite comedians so closely really topped it all off for me! When I graduated university, I hadn’t considered working away on location, but now that I have had this experience, I am planning to work for more shows where I can travel with the crew. I have confirmed to do series two, which will be recommencing this spring. After that, I hope to continue to do more location work- maybe somewhere sunny?!"
